We are students from the 3rd of secondary school and we’d like to talk to you about a project that is organised by our class and with the collaboration of teachers at our school. This project consists of making a runway where students will model different brands like Zara, Primark and more. While the models are walking, a fashion commentator will announce the brand of the clothing and the actual cost of this. This could include slavery, contamination and other injustices that have taken place when making it. All this will take place in the covered area that is at the entrance of the school next to the roundabout.
We hope to use this project to teach the youth at our school that the world is not perfect. There are a lot of problems we don’t know about and we contribute to without even knowing it. Unfortunately, we can’t stop this injustice by its roots but the less we are involved with it, the closer we will be to living in a much more ethical world.
