A stage full of talent and fun A few days ago, Colegio Internacional de Granada was filled with music, humor, and creativity thanks to a very special activity featuring students from Primary and 1st and 2nd year of ESO. During this event, the students presented their own chirigotas—original compositions created by themselves that filled the school with joy, imagination, and enthusiasm.

Creativity as the protagonist Each group prepared their chirigota by inventing original lyrics, demonstrating a great ability to play with words and create funny stories. Through this activity, the students put their written expression, creativity, and improvisation skills into practice, transforming the classroom into a space for artistic creation.

Learning through music and humor The chirigotas allowed various skills to be developed in a natural and fun way. The students did not just write the lyrics; they also practiced rhythm, performance, and staging. At our school in Granada, we believe that these types of activities help develop confidence, communication, and artistic expression.

An exercise in teamwork Preparing a performance involves coordinating ideas, distributing tasks, and rehearsing together. During the process, the students learned to collaborate and listen to their classmates’ proposals, strengthening cooperative work and shared responsibility.

The value of taking the stage One of the most special moments was seeing the students present their chirigotas in front of their peers. Getting up on stage requires bravery and self-assurance, and this experience allowed the students to develop self-confidence and oral expression skills.

The importance of enjoying learning Activities like this demonstrate that learning can also be fun. At our secondary school in Granada, we aim for students to live educational experiences that combine knowledge and emotion, fostering motivation and enthusiasm for participation.

Humor and imagination in the classroom The lyrics of the chirigotas were full of irony, wit, and everyday situations that sparked many laughs. These types of activities stimulate creativity and help students learn to express their ideas in an original way.

A complete educational experience At our bilingual school in Granada, we believe that education must also include spaces for creativity and artistic expression. These experiences help develop communication skills and reinforce the sense of community among students.

A memory that leaves a mark Seeing the students create, write, and perform with such excitement was a very special moment for the entire educational community. These types of initiatives strengthen the bond between classmates and foster a positive school environment.

Learning by creating and sharing As a bilingual institute in Granada, we continue to support activities where students can develop their talent and express themselves freely. Because when learning is combined with creativity, music, and humor, it becomes an unforgettable experience.
