Last Friday the 25th, we enjoyed one of the most special and anticipated events on our school calendar: the Back-to-School Hike to the Cruz de la Atalaya. It was a fantastic day of sports, nature, and community, where students, teachers, and numerous families shared great moments together.
At 9:00 a.m., we set off from the upper part of the Cañadas del Parque residential area. We were thrilled to see this year’s high turnout, which included not only our students but also many parents and grandparents who joined us along the trail.
We would like to extend a warm thank you to the new families who joined this tradition for the first time and adapted so seamlessly to the dynamics of the hike.
After completing the route and returning to Colegio Internacional de Granada around 2:00 p.m., we wrapped up the morning with our usual Community Refreshments. Everyone enjoyed a well-deserved break with cold drinks for children and adults alike, along with delicious tapas prepared by our chef Paloma and her kitchen team.
Thank you so much to everyone who accompanied us for making this day such a memorable occasion!
