In the last week of May, our students from 4th and 5th grade of primary experienced quite a special adventure: they hiked across one of the most beautiful places in the Natural Park of Sierra de Huétor and visited the peak of Altos del Majalijar (1878m), the Cueva de las Palomas and Cañada del Sereno. Naturally, they camped in the recreational area of Florencia where they set up their tents, cooked their food and even ventured on an evening hike. Without a doubt, this was an unforgettable experience of spending time together in the fauna and flora found in nature. It was also a unique opportunity for them to confront their fears, overcome them and grow in maturity and responsibility. Each day they become more prepared to face whatever challenges they will come across in the future!
